Look up to 10 years younger in just a few minutes!
When chosen and applied correctly, cosmetics can virtually to peel back time. Still, there are women who are using heavy textures and products, sparkly finishes, and harsh colors that make them look older than they really are. To maximize your looks and minimize your age, there are a few anti-aging makeup tricks that will keep you looking young and fresh – no Botox or plastic surgery needed.
To achieve this look you need to start with the basics…
Perfect Skin – First, you want to fully moisturize your skin. Next, apply a makeup primer to the skin with an upward motion to smooth out any fine lines or wrinkles and smooth coverage. Then apply your foundation. Foundation should be applied with a damp sponge for a sheer, seamless application. For a more radiant look try adding a drop of highlighter to your foundation. For paler skin, add a pearlescent highlighter, and for darker skin, add a gold or bronze highlighter. Finally, apply a light dusting of pressed, or setting powder to set your makeup and absorb shine.
Conceal – Next conceal any blemishes, and under eye areas. The best concealer to use is a creamy concealer, that should be applied with a brush. Try not to extend to the outer areas, so it does not highlight lines or crows feet. After the application, if you still have any dryness, apply a moisturizer or eye cream with a q-tip, and blend under the eye.
Primed Eyes – You can now prime your eyes, by using your foundation and dabbing a small amount into the area. This will even out the eye area, and make creases less noticeable.
Plumped Lips – Next apply a nude color pencil to the lip, and fill from the outside in. Use a creamy lipstick one shade lighter than the lip liner, and apply gloss on top, just in the center of the lip to create the illusion of fullness. Dark colors can look harsh and accentuate age spots and other imperfections.
Quick Tip: Dab a little concealer over the lip line, too; it's a needle-free filler for fine lines around the mouth and keeps color from bleeding.
Just for Eyes - For amazing eyes, a light dusting of shimmer shadow over the lids refracts light and brightens the eyes. Next, apply a thickening and curling mascara, with a side sweeping motion from the bottom of your lash to the top to create fullness. You may then curl with a eyelash curler, and apply more mascara to just the tips of the lashes.
I promise these simple steps will give you an amazing youthful glow!
