Halle Berry, dubbed Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive, is gearing up to unleash her debut perfume, Halle by Halle Berry.
And what scent does the woman known for her strong sense of self give off? Um … a really strong one.
Berry's in-your-face fragrance isn't for sensitive sniffers, which seems only right since its namesake is no shrinking violet herself.
The fragrance has hints of eucalyptus, Sicilian bergamot, freesia, mimosa and sandalwood.
With these powerhouse ingredients, and an overall "woody oriental" vibe, Halle makes its presence known.
"Unique and powerful, much like the creator herself, this fragrance will resonate amongst all women around the world, inviting them to reveal their inner beauty, sensuality and strength of character," promises perfume maker Coty, which will release the scent this month.
It's a sensual smell, no doubt, which seems to be Berry's goal. But it's definitely skewed for an afterhours moment, rather than an everyday scent.
And it's certainly a recession-friendly deal: With its potent perfume and relatively low celebu-scent cost ($35 for nearly two ounces)
Halle, available at Kohl's, Sears, and J.C.Penney, is the first in a line of fragrances set to be released by Berry.
