Probably fifteen years or so ago I found and fell in love with a limited-release perfume. It was by Perscriptives and was part of a series that was named after colors like Yellow, Green, Black, Purple, etc. They were supposed to smell like the color. I became obsessed with the 'White' perfume. It was like nothing I had ever smelled before. It was light, floral and unique. Whenever I wore it, people would stop and ask me what it was. When it was time for me to get another bottle, it was gone. I was so sad. I have been searching for something like it ever since…and I think I may have found it.
This April, Bond No. 9 is releasing Astor Place, a fragrance inspired by New York’s most vibrant arts-and-style intersection. I received a sample and almost fell over when I smelled it…it was the closest thing to my beloved White perfume I have smelled since! Yeah!
The scent is a seductive fresh floral – a freesia-poppy-violet leaf composition that simmers down into the smooth, steady notes of teakwood and musk. It's amazing!
And that’s not all! Just in time for Mother’s Day Bond No. 9 is offering Astor Place in a limited-edition Swarovski bottle – decorated with topaz crystals. Oh and don't forget, the bottles are recyclable!See the Top Ten Summer 2016 Trends for Women Over 40
