Finally, Yes! This is My Timex.

March 27, 2009 • Accessories

I have always wanted to make a statement by wearing a Timex. It's sort of like wearing straight legged men's Levi's instead of choosing a pair from the premium denim lines.

I have been on the lookout for several years for a great basic Timex. There was no question that it would work (take a lickin' and keep on tickin'), and I knew it couldn't cost too much. I thought it may be a men's watch or one with humor (think 70s LED) or something edgy or blingy that would make me say, "Yes! This is my Timex." I looked but could not find the right Timex.

Until I saw the watches in the Spring 09 Collection. Now I can say "Yes, yes, yes!" and I actually found more than one!

1. Women's Crystal Collection, 52 Swarovski® Crystals, Leather Strap, Stainless steel Case $90  Product Code: T2N072

This one reminds me of a diamond Charriol watch that I saw and adored (however a far stretch you think that may be!) But at least when I wear this one I can keep my diamonds safe at home…

2. Women's Bracelet Collection, Classic Rectangle Stainless Steel Bracelet $65 Product Code: T2N046

What? Oh no, that says must be mistaken…not Tiffany

3. Women's Crystal Collection, 66 Swarovski® Crystals, Stainless Steel Bracelet  $100 Product Code: T2N030

I plan on wearing this one…to the beach! Or maybe to the gym, to lift weights.

4. Men's T Series Automatic in Stainless Steel $175 Product Code: T2M976

My boyfriend left this watch behind and I've been wearing it ever since …on weekends.

5. Men's T Series chronograph with steel case, leather strap $150 Product Code: T2M985

One of my other boyfriends left this watch on the yacht and I've been wearing it ever since… along with his white shirt, tied effortlessly at my waist.

I’m looking into purchasing the Men’s T Series chronograph with steel case but as a lady I’m not sure if it will be too large for my wrist. I want to order it online and was wondering if you could give me any insight? Thank you!

Hi There! You may want to ask Timex if the one you want can be adjusted… In my experience with men’s watches, you may have to get several links on the band removed by a jeweler in order to fit you properly. Try to email Timex your wrist size and see what they say before ordering.
