Just when you thought (prayed) it was over, Lauren Conrad strikes again! This time at Kohl's. The Lauren Conrad Collection has just about reached extinction, along with 'The Hills' (woohoo), but just when we thought it was safe to breathe, the reality star throws a curve ball! Her latest project: a "California Casual" lifestyle brand for Kohl's.
The new line of apparel will hit stores in October, and may even expand to footwear, jewelry, handbags, intimates, and sleepwear. Items will range from $20-$80.
What does this mean for us? Well, quite frankly nothing. Did the Lauren Conrad Collection EVER feature any "gotta have" items? Did we ever think twice about picking up a garment with her name on it while casually shopping and wondering how the heck her designs landed in Bloomies? Does it seem appropriate that a line by her should be featured at Kohl's? Is it much more reasonable that her designs fall into the budget or moderate category as opposed to high-end?
