Our Prayers Have Been Answered, Death to Crocs.

May 11, 2009 • Accessories

This is the best news we think we have heard all year…shoemaker (if you want to call them that) Crocs is losing money the the tune of$22.4 million in the first quarter. According to The Street, revenue fell 32% last year and they expect more losses. Can Crocs survive? One can only hope not. As we have said, Crocs are about the worst thing to happen to footwear since…ever! Ths news rekindles our hope for the taste of mankind.

Now here is to hoping Fit Flops and jelly shoes follow the same demise.

Ok, it sounds mean, but… halleluja!

  2. I agree that the style pictured is not a favorite, but their new styles are fabulous and do not look like the “tradtional Crocs.” While I don’t like the old style, I have to say Crocs seems to be a great company with some cute and comfortable styles. I have a pair of heels and LOVE them. I hope they are around a while longer. I’m looking forward to seeing what else they come up with.

I love my jellies! They are not your typical shoes, they look like gladiator sandals from Roman times but they’re clear!
Don’t say death to jellies–the modern ones are very elegant!
