Celebity Style Smackdown. Who Wore It Best?

Levin Rambin vs. Dita Von Teese in Moschino Cheap and Chic

Winner: Dita Von Teese. This is a bit of a no-brainer. It takes a lot to make the retro chanteuse look bad but her overall look complements the ruffly, Moschino frock much more than Rambin's, from her coiffed curls to the white, open-toed heels. Rambin gets points for being a risk taker with the black vest and pointy-toes but the end result of her wannabe rocker look misses the mark.

Kate Walsh vs. Perrey Reeves in Dior

Winner: Perrey Reeves. We have to hand the honor to Reeves who perfects the streamlined, lady-like vibe of the dress with her tousled locks, the chain-strap back and the strappy sandals. She looks polished and effortlessly chic. Walsh looks a bit too severe with her hair tightly pulled back and the clunky shoes are just all wrong.

Reese Witherspoon vs. Jessica Biel in Simply Vera by Vera Wang

Winner: Reese Witherspoon. It takes equal parts keen fashion sense and
plain old common sense to take a $129 coat and turn it into a million
bucks. Witherspoon does just that by pairing the coat with a simple
Versace dress and classic nude heels. Biel is not quite in the same
league with her choices of opaque tights, tan riding boots, and unwashed hair. She could have done a lot more to make this daytime look more
polished and less drab, even with something as simple as incorporating
another color with a chic scarf. As it stands though, she's resigned
herself to being much more garage sale than glamour.

Kim Kardashian vs. Brittany Snow in Lela Rose

Winner: Kim Kardashian. Although both women look lovely in their ethereal dresses and loose waves, the tie has to be broken due to the shoes. This proves shoes really can make or break an entire look. Kardashian's rose colored dress complements her olive skin ton nicely and the nude shoes only elongate her legs. Snow also chose the right berry color for her skin and hair but drops out of the race with her oddly striped, black shoes. When in doubt-you can never fail with subdued metallic on a dress like this.

Anne Hathaway vs. Kate Bosworth in Burberry

Winner: Anne Hathaway. Sorry Kate, but Anne does a better job of pulling off this laidback look, perhaps from channeling her 'Get Smart' character. Trench, dark glasses, skinny jeans and flats are a universal on-the-go 'go to' and there's a reason why: because they look better than a trench with awkward, granny-length skirts and ankle booties. You want the coat to accent your outfit, not serve as a means to cover it up. At least she got the memo on the shades.
