More style savvy celebrities have been confirmed to be attending the 2009 CFDA Awards taking place
tonight at Alice Tully Hall in the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. Jack White from The White Stripes will channel his eclectic rockstar chic in presenting Anna Sui
with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award. Diane
Kruger, originally planned to present the Accessories Designer of the Year
award, will now give away this year's Womenswear Designer of the Year
award and Kerry
Washington will present the prestigious accessories award instead. Funnyman Jimmy Fallon will step up to honor one lucky designer with the Menswear Designer of the Year title. Among the various awards for standout designs of the year, the ceremony will also include the Board of Directors' Special Tribute, which will honor our chic First Lady Michelle Obama.
So far the celebrity ensembles for the evening are still under wraps, though it has been released that presenter Blake Lively will be wearing Michael Kors. The actress, who is presenting the Swarovski Awards, will also be sitting with the designer who is reportedly attending with guests Heidi Klum, Coco Rocha and Lauren Santo Domingo. Other stylish guests expected to attend include Bradley Cooper, Claire Danes, and Gerard Butler. But though we have high hopes now, we do expect at least a few of these well known names to reappear on our WTF Was She Thinking? The Week That Was In Bad Celebrity Style post appearing later this week. Stay tuned!
