Today marks the opening of Prada's new pop up shop in Paris. The latest luxury brand to join the trend, Prada's temporary retail space will debut on Place Beauvau in the city’s 8th arrondissement. The short-lived store measures about 6,000 square feet and will offer women's ready-to-wear clothing and accessories, including a limited edition handbag in gray leather. Prada is planning to operate the pop up shop for the next fiev months.
Other temporary retail spaces that have gone up around Paris recently include Uniqlo, who is gearing up for the brand's Parisian flagship store due out this fall. Uniqlo's store in the city's Marais disrtrict will operate until September 13th. The same area has also seen the likes of the highly anticipated Black Comme des Garcons temporary store which features the luxe label's more affordable "guerilla" collection.
