These days with our economy in a tailspin, no matter who you are, you have looked at or purchased a drugstore beauty product. Whether you are cutting your beauty costs and don’t want to pay $25 for a lipstick or are just looking for great beauty bargains, fantastic drugstore beauty brands await everyone.

There are some products that can compete with some of the higher end products without denting your wallet. Here are some of my favorite beauty fixes:

Every makeup application needs the right tools. It is essential to apply your makeup seamlessly and effortlessly. To help achieve this Sonia Kashuk’s Blending Sponge gets into the nooks and crannies to give you a flawless application. One of the best I have ever tried, this blending sponge can be used with a liquid foundation or powder. To use with a liquid, wet the sponge completely and squeeze out the excess water, dip in your liquid foundation, and apply it to your face. With this method, a little foundation will go a long way. It will give you an airbrush finish that is to envy! To use with powder no water is necessary. Just swirl in your pressed powder or loose powder and apply. You can buff it into your skin until you get the coverage you desire. For $9.99 you cannot beat the price compared to other expensive beauty blenders.

After the right tools, you need a great foundation. You don’t necessarily need an expensive foundation to do the trick, because there are great inexpensive foundations that are just as good. L’Oreal True Match Foundation is one of them. This super blendable foundation effortlessly matches your skin’s texture and leaves your skin looking flawless. With minimum to medium coverage it can be applied and layered until you achieve your desired look.

Eye color is just as important as foundation, as it will bring color to your face as well as make your eyes pop. Just a little highlight and lid color will make your eye makeup complete. A great neutral palette for day or night is Revlon’s 12 Hour Color Stay Eye Shadow Quad. This silky smooth, blendable shadow does not budge. These color coordinated quads are perfect for anyone, and can be expertly mixed and matched. Your eyes will stay flawless all day.

Nothing beats a great mascara to top off your peepers with L’Oreal’s Voluminous Mascara. This mascara comes in several different formulas from waterproof to Carbon Black and one thing is for sure – you will have the longest, plumpest lashes ever.

Add the perfect colors to your lips with Cover Girl Outlast Lip Stain. This inexpensive lip stain is one of the best drugstore beauty products I have ever tried. Not only are the colors beautiful, it does what it says it will do. The color last all day. Ranging from coral to red, you will be sure to find your perfect color of choice.

When night falls and you are ready to remove it all try Boots No7 Quick Thinking 4 in 1 Wipes. If you are like me, some nights I absolutely hate to wash my face. Some nights it’s easier to just reach for a wipe which is why I love Boots No7 wipes. These wipes are a life saver during late nights. These gentle, fragrance free wipes remove the heaviest makeup or faces that just need a light cleansing. Laced with witch hazel and vitamins, they’re ultra moisturizing and leave your face smooth and clean.
