Madonna has always been known for marching to her own beat when it comes to her style. The queen of pop has been making headlines and setting timeless trends for over two decades. Today she seems to be only gaining momentum in her fifties while racing around the world on her 'Sticky and Sweet' tour and toting her eye candy of a male model beau Jesus Luz on her arm, Madonna's her high end style has yet to slow down as well. Madge was recently picked to be the centerpiece in Louis Vuitton's futuristic fall ad campaign, chose Givenchy runway duds for her world tour costumes, rocked a Chopard for the 258 brilliant-cut white diamond “M-Dolla” ring on her 'Hard Candy' cd last summer. But is it all luxury labels for the distinguished diva these days? Apparently not. Although Madonna seemingly has enough money to bathe daily in fine jewelry and towel off with couture, she chose the ready-to-wear and affordable jewelry of fellow limelighter Nicole Richie for the cover of her new single, 'Celebrated'. Richie's line, House of Harlowe 1960, features art deco-inspired, retro designs which Madge apparently gravitated toward for her cover look, picking out a golden locket necklace that retails for $65. Other celeb fans of Richi's line include Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, and Amanda Bynes but Madge's new single cover (though you can't really see the necklace too well) will be the first highly publicized piece for the former socialite. It's good to see pop music royalty support the little people—that is, the rich, as opposed to the very, very rich.
