Looks from Leanne Marshall's fall 2009 collection

There are only a few days left to order fall 2009 pieces from Project Runway's Season Five winner Leanne Marshall from Showroom New York! As the New York fashion incubator's newest designer, Leanne Marshall has proven her skills at adeptly constructing modern and feminine pieces which won over the meticulous judges of Project Runway.

Marshall received a scholarship to the Fashion Institute of
Design and Merchandising
(FIDM) in San Francisco where she received her formal
fashion design training. After creating several independent collections
upon graduation, Marshall was chosen to be one of the contestants on the fifth season of the hit reality design show Project Runway. She went on to become a finalist, and
as a result showed her spring 2009 collection during fashion week in Bryant Park in January 2009. Following her runway show, she was announced as the winner of the competition and as
a result, Marshall was given $100,000 to start her own line. Showroom New York invited the Season Five victor to create her first collection since the Project triumph within the walls of Showroom New York's garment district location. The collection, her fall 2009 line, was manufactured and produced exclusively in New York City.

Showroom is collecting orders for Marshall's fall 2009 line up to August 15th so check out her complete Fall' 09 look book at Showroom New York's designer page.

  1. I always really enjoyed her pieces last season on the show. She had a great “sculptural” quality and I thought her pieces were very wearable — not costume-y. Love the coat!
