The highly anticipated collaboration between German designer Jil Sander and retailer Uniqlo has finally got a confirmed launch date. The Japanese chain will start selling the +J collection in the United
States and the United Kingdom on Oct. 1 and in Asia on Oct. 2. Photos of the new products, including tailored shirts, button-down jackets sweaters, and jeans leaked online earlier this week. But on Thursday, Uniqlo
unveiled a couple shots from the line’s new advertising campaign, which
will drop August 24 in GQ Japan. Shot by David Sims, it features black
and white images of windswept models Sean Opry and Isabeli Fontana. The line is similar to Jil Sander's simplistic, minimalist style with most pieces in the label's trademark neutrals of black, white, gray, navy, and eggplant. A few standout pieces unique to the collection are a spandex mini skirt and a black puffy coat with a modern shine. The entire collection is affordable, with prices ranging from $21 for a stretch tee to $155 for a wool peacoat.
