Summary: Project Runway alum Christian Siriano wowed the celebrity-packed audience with a Mediterranean-inspired collection that was dramatic, and overall, very, very cool. The looks progressed from an alluring nude motif into a unique fabric print, created using an aerial photograph of the Italian coastline, flipped, modified and repeated. Sometimes the print incorporated bright volcano colors of orange and fuchsia, while other times it was saturated with the blues of the ocean. The effect was a lush graphic feel that was both luxurious, yet refined. The crowd was especially taken with Siriano's second-to-last look — a strapless gown constructed of layers of chiffon and tulle that elicited many oohs and ahhs. Front-row fans included Tori Spelling, Mina Suvari, Nina Garcia, Tim Gunn and Kelly Rowland.
