Hair: Celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson created edgy ponytails for Sunday's Lela Rose Spring '10 Collection. Perfectly tousled, the models' hair exuded that been-at-the-beach-all-day-and-I-still-look-sexy style. Gibson said the hairstyle was inspired by "water and waves" and "a day in St. Barts". To achieve this ultimate beachy look, Gibson applied Build It Blow Drying Spray at the scalp for volume, and also on inch and a half sections of hair that he twisted and dried to achieve the desired rough texture. After pulling the hair into the pony tail, he then used Beautiful Hold Hair Spray to secure it.
Make up: Provided by Stila Cosmetics, the make up palette was colorful, but muted with an emphasis on bronzer to play up the day-at-the-beach theme. The skin was sun-kissed with Stila Convertible Color in Camellia, the cheeks in full bloom from Stila's Pomegranate Lip & Cheek Stain, the lips were a lovely honey shade, and the eyes highlighted in Fandango, a Stila Eye Shadow Duo color, topped off with plenty of mascara.
Skincare: The models were also treated to Darphin Paris skincare products, a necessity for runway show survival. Favorites included the Azahar Cleansing Water, a no-rinse cleanser that smells of orange blossom and is perfect for a mid-day spritz; the Arovita C Line Response Cream, which contains caffeine and Vitamin C and said to be an "energy powerhouse" and the Aromatic Renewing Balm, a silky, rich balm that blends six essential oils for a super hydrating overnight treatment.
