Summary: As expected, the Custo Barcelona Spring 2010 collection was a parade of technicolor looks, each trying to outdo the next. There were capes, trains, billowing sleeves, embroidered tassels, long-sleeve crop tops and one shoulder dresses sure to make any girl the life of the party. Did it all work? Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Spanish designer, Custo Dalmau's fans (of which there are many) would probably disagree with that statement. They come out in droves and this season, even though the show moved moved to the largest tent, was still standing room only. Fans of Custo Barcelona love the over-the-top, not so subtle use of colors and texture. Every piece makes a bold statement. Isn't that what Custo fans want? If you are a wall flower, keep looking, This line isn't for you.

Color palette: Neon pink, blue, green and purple; black and yellow; disco ball metallics.

Fabrics & Textures: Lots of swingy fringe, embellishments galore, diamond cut-outs, embroidery and sparkling embellishments, sheer fabrics.

Key Looks: Long white blazer; sheer dresses; bright green coat constructed all of fringe that had an updated mohair effect.
