New York Fashion Week Spring ’10. Spanish Designers Show 4 Different Views

September 13, 2009 • New York Fashion Week Spring '10

Some of the most interesting shows during New York Fashion Week are installation presentations at the New York Library at Bryant Park. This was certainly the case with an exhibit of 4 Spanish Designers: Ana / Locking by Ana Gonzalez, duyos by Juan Duyos, Carmen March and Juanjo Oliva on Sunday September 13th. Their pieces were displayed on dressing forms in 4 straight rows, one row for each designer down the middle of the room. An ongoing video projected on a large screen entitled 4 Eyes: 4 Creative Minds . 4 Visions . 4 Different Views on Fashion added excitement to the presentation. This intriguing film production artfully showed models wearing the same fashions that were in the room. Your eyes were drawn to the movie, and seeing mirror images, you could glance across the room and walk up and take a close look at each of these designs. The designers themselves, all from Madrid, Spain were in attendance as well. It was a personal and very modern presentation.
