Summary: I don’t know what Kool-aid Doo-Ri Chung has been drinking, but whatever it is, I love it! The designer described her Spring collection as edgy and for her, it was. The collection was far departure from the draped jersey sexy dresses she built her brand on, but everyone’s doing that now. Time to move on. Doo.Ri was inspired by a metal installation created by artist Annette Messager, My Wish Is Under Netting. The color palette was therefore mostly grey and silver, but there were also metal details in the form of chains overlaid on blouses, shorts and bubble skirts. The collection was edgy, but still sweet and very wearable.
