After being entranced by the larger than life Carmen Marc Volvo Spring '10 presentation on the enormous screens of Times Square during Fashion Week, I now believe in the power of multimedia, attention-grabbing techniques. And apparently, so does Alexander McQueen. The sneaky designer has purposely concealed the whereabouts of his upcoming pop up shops for Puma.

Taking a cue from labels like Comme des Garcons and Maison Martin Margiela who became known to open and shut a retail space with nary a forewarning, McQueen is taking his super secret status to the next level. Apparently, the designer will be using a super hero-like mechanism to guide anyone curious enough to the pop up shop locale. Massive 'McQ' logos will be strategically projected throughout various spots all over New York City. Once spotted, the hawk eyed observer needs only to head to their nearest Puma outpost and chances are, the pop up shop will be in or around the area. Sounds simple enough. McQueen's partnership with Puma features McQueen for Puma sportswear designs in shoes, jackets, leggings, and bags.
