Fall Trend Alert. Military Jackets: Stand and Deliver

October 7, 2009 • Fashion

I an going to date myself here, but back when I was in high school I was a huge Adam Ant fan so needless to say I had a few military jackets and a lot of eyeliner. While Balmain may have started the trend again for Fall '10, others have run with it…and for a lot less coin. So you really have no excuse not to add one to your wardrobe this season. The simplicity of the cut (look for high, exaggerated shoulders) mixed with amazing embellishments make this jacket perfect for the office and a night on the town. Wear it over a knit turtleneck dress for work, with jeans and a white tee for the weekend and over a frilly dress and booties Saturday night. You don't have to be an officer to make this your go-to jacket.
