Summary: Miuccia Prada opened her Miu Miu RTW Spring 2010 show with these words, "Innocence and youth. What does it mean today in a world that's so the opposite?" The show echoes this theme with a dose of sweet innocence partnered with a hint of worldliness. The collection consists of pantsuits, dresses, skirts and blouses, in a palette of navy, black, white, cream, pink and baby blue. Many of the pieces feature prints, keeping within the innocent/worldly theme by featuring cats, birds and even some nude figures. Some of the more risque pieces include strategic cut-outs against a youthful style. Every piece is immaculately tailored and incredibly wearable: from slim pants to cropped jackets and some fabulous sheer nude smocked dresses, Miu Miu invites you to rediscover your youthful self. What better way to welcome spring than with this upbeat yet elegant collection?
