Paris Fashion Week Spring 2010. Louis Vuitton’s Star Studded Front Row.

October 13, 2009 • Celebrity Style

While we're thankful the celebs that attended Louis Vuitton's Paris Fashion Week show didn't try to pull off the afro wig seen on the label's runway, they did culminate in  what Second City Style contributor Amanda Aldinger said was the essence of the show–a wide variety of looks and eras. Above all else, though, haute couture prevailed and even the biggest risk takers among the star-studded front row went for high-fashion, high-class looks that kept them a step above the average fashionista pack, while looking sophisticated, elegant, and trendy at the same time.

Camille Belle

Camille, always a trendsetter, and one of the few to wear bright color, went for a nude puff sleeve blouse and a pink origami skirt with her tasseled peep toe heels and patent leather bag.

Zoe Saldana

The ever-so-elegant Zoe Saldana also opted for tasseled heels with a sequined jacket and midnight blue shorts.

Catherine Deneuve

Catherine Deneuve, always a woman of class and style at any age. She doesn't go for what stands out, she goes for what works. Beautiful, classy black dress and longer jacket, perfect for her figure and bright red peep toes that make the outfit pop. Perfect!

Leighton Meester

We're wondering if Leighton's mid-calf socks will be the next trend to hit the twentysomething style scene. This look is pretty, but edgy at the same time, and very fashion forward–tasseled platforms, a watercolor print dress, a vest, and a belt.  It works.

Daisy Lowe

The tuxedo blazer trend was all over celebs at Fashion Week, including one Daisy Lowe, decided to pair hers with a white balloon skirt and white round-toe pumps with bows at the ankle that looked like ballet slippers. Going for a sophisticated ballet dancer theme perhaps?

Michelle Yeoh

She's an action star, but she's looking quite lady-like! Carrying a Louis Vuitton bag with a signature logo, actress Michelle Yeoh gets comfortable in a long brown leather trench and tortoise shell sandals.

Freida Pinto

Freida Pinto is petite as ever and unfortunately her cobalt sweater is still so form fitting that we can the outline of her bra. Ok, let's not focus on that (unfortunatley, you readers probably already have!) What do we love about this outfit? That lovely transparent tiered skirt and those (once-again tasseled) peep toe booties! The fuschia Louis Vuitton bag is cool, too…

Katy Perry

Katy looks dazzling and not cartoonish for a change! Love the silver puff-sleeve top, the matching silver eyeshadow, the headpiece, the small yellow clutch that pops but doesn't overwhelm. She is a fashion winner–minus the single glove.

Rinko Kakuchi

The Babel star looks divine in a straight-off-the-runway Louis Vuitton pink and blue dress with lace overlay. And those ballet-inspired round-toe pumps tied at the ankle, guess more than one person at Louis is wearing them.

Ksenia Gorbachev, Natalia Vodianova, Alexandra Vodianova

Ksenia, grandaughter of former Russian president Mikhail Gorbachev, carries a swirly gray clutch that pops whi
le supermodel Natalia Vodianova is all ruffles romantic in this pink textured dress with a frilly collar. And I'm very into Alexandra's iridescent blue print skirt.
