No,they're not uttering expletives.

Dries Van Noten, Paris, Spring '10

When WWD told us that optical, geometric, and animal print pattern combinations were a trend to watch on the Paris Fashion Week Spring 2010 runways, we weren't surprised. After all, celebs have been parading around in flashy print getups to events, dinner, award shows, and gala affairs for quite some time now.

Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad took the spotlight in this brightly patterned Mara Hoffman minidress with slight draping at the sides. Exquisite!

Rose Byrne

At the MTV Video Music Awards, Rose Byrne takes the cake in this beautiful black and pink floral confection.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian's Tracy Reese frock is funky and fun and that animal print is just right on target for the season.

Jessica Stroup

Charlotte Ronson brought on a young, trendy paint patterned look to dresses and skirts at NY Fashion Week for Spring '10.  Jessica Stroup best exemplified this in her brushstroke tube dress with tulip skirt bottom.

Leighton Meester

It wasn't her mid-calf black socks that won praise at the Louis Vuitton show in Paris, but the designer's watercolor print dress paired with a black sleeveless vest and a belt.

Paula Patton

Paula Patton's colorful one-shoulder patterned dress is the most graphic of them all, and those blue suede shoes tie the whole look together.
