Perhaps it has something to do with Rio recently receiving the Olympic bid for the Summer 2016 games (not
that we're sill bitter over here…) but it seems everyone who's
anyone is suddenly talking about the steamy, spicy continent of South America. And it's not just about Gisele anymore.
Karl Lagerfield announced he is planning a trip to Argentina to shoot the next Chanel campaign on location in Buenos Aires with Claudia Schiffer, Freja Beha Erichson and Baptiste Giabiconi.
Lagerfield has never stepped foot on South American soil before,
saying,“I only go to places if I have a professional reason. I’m not a
tourist.” But once there, it seems Lagerfield will be breaking out the
old guide book since he has already claimed he will spend his time in
Argentina researching for a new book he's creating on Argentinian architecture. Is there anything The Kaiser can't do?!
Meanwhile on the Hollywood front, Woody Allen
has been eyeing the legendary roads of Rio as well. Following the
filmmaker's success in 'VickiCristina Barcelona', Allen has decided to
keep casting sultry sirens in exotic locales. He plans to set his
upcoming film in Rio de Janeiro and reportedly, his potential pick for a role in the film is none other than the hottest, sultriest siren on them all—supermodel Adriana Lima. Allen apparently sent his associate producers to the Brazilian city last week to
scout for locations, and local authorities offered $1.8 million to
cover his costs while there. And according to Brazil's Glamurama magazine gossip Anderson Antunes:
"In a recent meeting in New York with Brazilian producers, Allen
confessed that he is 'fascinated' by [Adriana's] beauty," and would
seriously like to consider her for a role. Lima has acted before in bit
parts, both in movies such as, "The Wife", and in tv shows like "Ugly Betty" and "How I Met Your Mother."
According to Page Six,the currently pregnant Lima has yet to be
approached by Allen's camp but the model sis shay she was, "flattered
by his comments."
