Women's wear icon and CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg ran into a spot of bad luck while on vacation in Madrid yesterday. DVF tweeted around 9:00 a.m. that she had been robbed outside in the street right in front of the Thyssen museum. Darn those street thieves! Though DVF lamented that her "wallet, cash, and credit cards" had been all been taken, the designer didn't obtain any injuries from the mishap. In fact, she seemingly received tons of messages inquiring about how she was since she later tweeted "Please stop worrying about me, I am totally fine!! I hope its the worst thing that will happen to me." Though clearly shaken, DVF surely had her cards replaced by today—at least her American Express, since the designer is a spokesperson for the company.
