Well it wouldn't be the first time Lindsay Lohan was making something up to save face! After disastrous fashion ventures including heading up questionable leggings label 6126, reportedly stealing the formula for her so-called self-tanning spray, Sevin Nyne, and then securing herself as the laughing stock of the fashion industry with her latest role as 'artistic adviser' to Emanuel Ungaro,
Lohan is trying to prove she's down but not out. Or is she? The
controversial starlet just had recently announced that she would be,
according to WWD, "expanding her unlikely fashion portfolio" in a new collaborative project with jewelry designer Pascal Mouawad and Bebe.
Mouawad has done collaborations with celebrities before—such as Heidi
Klum and Nicole Richie—but Mouawad now claims Lohan isn't one of them.
Although the jewelry guru did acknowledge discussions took place about
launching a jewelry line
with Lohan for Bebe, he declared in an e-mail that
Lohan’s revelation that a collection was on its way is just not true. “This is
not happening,” he said bluntly. So it seems all is right with the world after all. For the moment, at least.
