The lingerie and swimwear manufacturer Eurojersey, who provides textiles for labels like Victoria Secret, La Perla, and Dolce and Gabbana will be giving back a meter of deforested Argentine Rainforest for every meter they sell in patented Sensitive Fabric.
Eurojersey’s decided to partner up with World Land Trust, a conservation charity that shares the same goals as their Sensitive Eco System Project which is to reduce environmental impact.
The steps they take to accomplish these goal includes; reducing manufacturing waste by utilizing sustainable power and introducing new technology called Clear Printing which lessens water consumption when printing.
Michela Delle Donne, head of marketing at Eurojersey, hopes that the partnership with Word Land Trust will raise customer awareness of their efforts to produce ethical products.
So the next time you’re in one of the participating stores; check the tag and see if the piece you’re wearing is made with Sensitive Fabric. You could be saving the rainforest!
