It's the first of the month and we are all aflutter for the fierce, fun-filled, fashion-themed evens that will take place this month. And we're already off to a good start since tomorrow, December 1, marks the first day that the limited-edition capsule collection from French fashion house, Paul & Joe, is available online. After a long and amicable relationship between Paul & Joe and e-commerce site Net-a-porter, the site asked the label to create an exclusive collection that would drop on the website's outlet site, TheOutnet.com.
Paul & Joe has already collaborated on a diffusion line for Target, but instead of gleaning inspiration for that gently-priced collection, founder Sophie Albou said she looked at the archives of the label's main line for her muse. The line includes reformulated classics like sharp tuxedo jackets ($250), sequined dresses ($610), chic pleated shorts ($125), a double-breasted peach coat with big gold buttons ($320) and the printed silk blouses that the lovable brand has become known for ($150).
