News from Across the Atlantic:

Designer Stella McCartney and British singer Morrissey are heard to be teaming up to create a new line of leather-free vegan footwear. Though the line is in the early stages of development, they both hope to launch next year.

McCartney has explained her enthusiasm for the upcoming collaboration with the fellow vegetarian to the Daily Mail. "I'm working with Morrissey on a line of leather-free shoes which I'm really excited about. We are still in the early stages, but the shoes could be launched next year."

The designer has never used leather or fur in any of her collections since she started making clothes and the activist is known for her rigorous stance on the matter.

It was recently heard that McCartney was suppose to collaborate with singer Leona Lewis in a similar venture but turned out to be false.
