How cool is this? In anticipation of Tim Burton's much talked about release of the children's classic "Alice in Wonderland", French retailer Printemps had asked certain designers—those known for their ability to display the surreal and psychedelic glamor associated with the story—to come up with a one-off dress for the story's beloved heroine, Alice. It sure beats that plain blue and white-aproned getup she sports in the story. The participating designers will include Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane, Maison Martin Margiela, Bernhard Willhelm, Haider Ackermann, Manish Arora and Ann Demeulemeester. Each has been challenged to delve into the recesses of their famous imaginations in order to craft their design, the wilder the better. The fabulous frocks will be then exhibited in the store’s windows at the end of February, just in time for Paris Fashion Week. We're not sure what to expect but if those posters of Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter freak you out now, we're pretty sure you haven't seen anything yet!
