Giorgio Armani Beauty made its official premiere Wednesday
morning at the Bloomingdale’s located at New York’s 59th Street in
true Armani style. With Hollywood-styled models and a ribbon cutting ceremony,
the counter opened on the newly renovated beauty floor.
Though the floor has been open for several weeks, the
outpost made its official debut to showcase the nine 48-inch plasma screens,
personal consultation space and easily accessible product line.
Stephane de la Faverie, general manager for Giorgio Armani
Beauty, explained how the space serves as an actual physical representation of
the Armani name. “We are bringing fabric and texture to life,” said de la
Faverie. “It is a chance for us to talk to a new clientele and reach out to
both Armani customers and beauty junkies.”
So, if buying that Armani dress is not looking too promising,
you can always buy a bit of makeup to satisfy the Armani craving.
