Calvin Klein’s Party at a Prison?

Calvin Klein Collection window installation

If nothing else, the ck Calvin Klein brand can be named for its original idea of parties. The company, as well as its global creative director Kevin Carrigan, are planning to have a gala in Singapore this Friday on the grounds of the Queenstown Remand Prison. The shuttered prison is to be demolished at the end of the month.

At the event, guests will be able to see looks from the ck Calvin Klein brand's spring collection, as well as view an installation by Singaporean photographer and director Geoff Ang.

Ck Calvin Klein, which is under license with Club 21 in Singapore, will earmark 20 percent of all sales between this weekend in its four freestanding stores there to benefit the Yellow Ribbon Project, which seeks to help former criminal offenders with their reentry into society
