After a disastrous turn last year, Alessandro Dell'Acqua is back with a new collection called No. 21. The self-financed project will feature an 80-piece collection unveiled during Milan Fashion Week in February with a small runway show.
Named for Dell' Acqua's birthday on December 21, the collection will span from knitwear, outwear and dresses. The prices will be cut by 25 percent in comparison to his former signature line and though distribution is still in the works, Dell' Acqua noted that dresses will sots no more than 600 euros retail.
“I looked back at what I did in the past and decided to put the focus on wearable, everyday clothes more than on eveningwear,” he explained.
In June of 2009, Dell'Acqua lost the name and clothing line of his signature company.
