Every devoted fan of Project Runway has spent some time envisioning what it would be like to be a contestant on the show. We've all been there-thinking how we would make this dress longer, or that suit more fitted, or use different fabrics entirely (though most of us have no design skills whatsoever, but who cares!) Well it was only a matter of time before today's technologies caught up with the concept so we are proud to announce that, starting next month, our own virtual design dreams will come true! Atari, the beloved game console of our pasts, has revamped itself for the and is making a major comeback with games like the new Project Runway by Atari.
The Project Runway video
game will let you and every player take the role of an aspiring fashion
designer, as well as becoming a virtual model walking the runway. Players will be presented with various challenges and will be able to create
designs, have model fittings, and instruct on hair, make-up, and accessories just like in the show! Players also have the choice to become the model and strut their own creations down the runway using the Wii
Balance Board™ accessory.
Other features of
the Project Runway video game will include: an interactive
garment studio, a fashion career mode, hair and make-up studios, a Wii Balance
Board-compatible catwalk game and a feature where the player can take part in
high-profile fashion shoots and take on the role of a fashion
photographer. Everything in the game is based on or designed after the show so it should literally be your own Project Runway world where, like the real contestants, you are in charge of your own fashion fate. Be sure to check out Project Runway by Atari when the game drops everywhere on March 2 — and don't forget to make it work!
