Naomi Campbell's has done her part to create plenty of buzz for the 2010 installment of her charity auction and fashion show, Fashion for Relief. The supermodel and notorious diva has seemingly started to look outside herself when recruiting talent for the show, taking place tomorrow night, which benefits relief funds for the people of Haiti. Campbell has apparently persuaded Diane
von Furstenberg and Donna Karan
to hit the runway at the fashion show, which is no small feat indeed. Contrary
to some recent buzz, Marc Jacobs will not be on the catwalk or in the audience, but Helena Christensen
and of course Campbell herself will be stalking the runway as well. Dresses for the show have been donated by houses such as Dolce & Gabbana, Christian
Dior, and Carolina Herrera.
Nicole Miller even
made a duplicate style of a dress that will have debuted an hour
earlier on her own runway. The runway show will be hosted by Sarah Ferguson, and all the donated garments will be auctioned online at
NET-A-PORTER starting February 15th. The donation is tax deductible
and 100% of the event ticket sales will benefit CARE, which raises crucial funds towards rebuilding Haiti's
healthcare system for mother and children.
