Back stage at Luca Luca the mood was very relaxed with the subtle bursts of energy. The makeup looks and hair matched the strong clothing of Luca Luca's Fall 2010 Runway Show, with emphasis on strong, contoured face with low key hair.
MAC Key Makeup Artist James Kailardos, said he wanted the look "strong and graphic." He said, "..so the girls can look perfect". "It's about a dark burgundy lip, that's drawn on with one color, and filled in for a pure pigmented dark color". MAC Vino Lip Pencil was used to achieve this dramatic lip. For cheeks, Pearl Cream Colour Base was used to highlight, and keep the look fresh.
The rest of the look was very subtle, with gloss applied to the lid, and unkept brows that were only lightly combed. Lashes were enhanced with small individuals lashes on the top and bottom lid. He said, "Just in the corners, so it will look natural".

For hair, Teddy Charles for Redken wanted very understated hair, where he wanted the hair pulled into a chic, side bun. He said, "I want it a little bit messy, not like a ballerina, but chic and edgy at the same time." Once complete, hair was finished with Redken Finishing Spray.
Myrdith Leon-McCormack of M2M did nails that matched the mood of the makeup with a strong bold shade of dark Burgundy. It perfectly fused the look for Luca Luca's Fall 2010 Collection for a chic and elegant presentation.
