Vogue Paris released the first solo black model cover of the magazine since Liya Kebede in 2002.
The March 2010 cover, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, features shots of Rose Cordero striking poses in khaki and earth tones of Louis Vuitton. This is Cordero's first time posing for the Vogue cover, as well.
It could be noted that though Noemie Lenoir had a solo cover for the magazine's June/July 2008 issue, she shared the honors with Laetitia Casta.
