New York Fashion Week Fall 2010 season has just ended, but it is just the start for Fall's newest beauty trends. This season's looks ranged from bold red lips to ungroomed brows to flawless ethereal faces.
If there is one thing to take away from Fall's 2010 display was that it
was not just catered to one specific makeup look. There were several
trends that any woman can wear and look fabulous doing so.
One of this season's biggest trends was deep, rich lips. From burgundy to deep purples, the lips were strong and demanding. At Peter Som, the look was very rich, with dark purple lipstick filled lips, that appeared almost velvet like. At Luca Luca,
the berry lip reigned on the catwalk as well. The strong burgundy lip
was matched with fresh, skin, and hints of gold liner under the eye for
a dramatic statement.
Unlike previous seasons where red lips were dominant, we still saw some but with a fresh new twist, and a few even used orange. At Vivienne Tam, beautiful bold cherry lips were paired with soft glowing skin, while at Vena Cava the lips were filled with an orangey-red lipstick and paired with a strong bronzed cheek. At Max Azria,
the punchy orange lip was specifically used to stand out against the
models dewy complexions. The season's orange was fresh, and a new spin
on the classic red lip that was a safe look for other seasons.
