London Fashion Week Fall ’10. Burberry’s Star-Studded Front Row.

February 25, 2010 • Celebrity Style

Burberry was certainly a sight to see! And not just because it was live streamed for the entire world. (You can still see the entire show and exclusive interviews on the label's official website.)

Christopher Bailey packed the stars into the Chelsea College of Art, some of which were escorted into the area with umbrellas in the label's signature plaid style.  Big names like Claire Danes, Kate Hudson, Kristen Stewart, Mary-Kate Olsen, Ashley Olsen, Alice in Wonderland's Mia Wasikowska, Twiggy, Rachel Zoe, Natalia Vodianova, and Olivia Palermo all made appearances. So many stars came, we wondered if the crowd was really there to see the clothes.

But of course, they were! And of course, Christopher Bailey didn't disappoint. Nevertheless, I'm not here to comment on his amazing Fall collection (cropped coats and all!) We're here to see just what the stars wore.  Let's take a look:

Claire Danes rocked a black Burberry trench before taking it off to reveal a sleek, yet understated Burberry look in a texture that was seen in dresses and skirts on the runway.

Perhaps Kate Hudson was the highlight of the show as she glittered in a short sparkly green Burberry dress with sky high platforms.

Here's Kristen Stewart looking as uncomfortable as usual.  She's so pretty and just doesn't know how to flaunt her assets with fashion.  Some wonder if she was paid to attend this event.  Regardless, here she is wearing another high-fashion number that simply doesn't fit her right.

Mary-Kate Olsen dulls in black, but we do love her patent leather ankle boots with their too-tall heels.  And those colorful bracelets are nice, too.

Olivia Palermo looking as glamorous as always (I do believe she is more stylish than Whitney!) Love the dark red bag, love the belt, love, love, LOVE the sequined jacket and leather skirt combo. She sure does know how to dress and she can wear every style!

And of course, what high-fashion show could be complete without Miss Anna Wintour, who surprisingly didn't wear the designer's clothes to the show.  Instead, she crossed her legs in a burgundy Chanel number as she sipped champagne in the front row.
