Beauty Review. Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

March 8, 2010 • Beauty

What do I do when my skin looks as if it has had a lack of sleep just as much as I have! Yes, the nights have been long and the winter has been harsh. Is it spring already?! Nope until then, I have to bare the elements, and try to look pretty in the midst. With that said, I was pleased as punch when I tried Kiehl's new Midnight Recovery Concentrate, which I was hoping was a miracle in a bottle.

This little wonder, is 99.% natural elixir that is applied at night and suppose to regenerate, repair and replenish the skin for young-looking skin by morning. Did it work? Well let's first say my skin needed all the hope it could get and with the promises of young-looking skin by morning I just had to try. So I applied the drops of elixir on my fingers and dabbed it all around my face. I then patted it in until it was well absorbed. As I worked it in I couldn't resist the wonderful smell of the elixir, that included the blends of botanical oils including Squalane, Evening Primrose, and a blend of essentials oils like Lavender that is therapeutic, balancing and has antioxidant effects. It smelled heavenly, was soothing, and put me in a relaxing mood for night.

After it was absorbed, I could immediately not only see the difference in my skin, but I felt the difference. My skin felt silky soft, and very hydrated. I didn't even have to apply a moisturizer after wards. By morning, my skin was even softer! Now granted, I lost some moisture by night, and needed more moisture for the morning, but as far as my skin feeling, and looking replenished, it did.

I can now say I will be adding this to my nightly routine, because not only will my skin look good, I will feel good in the process. This soothing, calming elixir is good for the soul!
