Another celebrity collaboration, what a thrill…And this one is based on a woman who can't even find the time to wash her dirty ballet slippers.
Amy Winehouse is launching a clothing collection in collaboration with British label Fred Perry. The collection is set to debut in Fred Perry Authentic boutiques, as well as select wholesalers globally, starting this October and to be sold over the following four seasons.
The 17-piece collection will consist of mostly black and pink pencil skirts, capri pants and Fred Perry's signature polo shirts. The price point will range between $32 and $150.
“We had three major design meetings where she was closely involved in product style selection and the application of fabric, color and styling details,” said Richard Martin, Fred Perry’s marketing director. “Amy gave crucial input on proportion, color and fit. The range clearly has Amy’s handwriting.”
Too tight, too short and not really seasonal appropriate. Clearly this is Ms. Winehouse's doing.
