Jessica Simpson graces the May cover of Marie Claire. And like the cover says, she is (*le gasp!*) without makeup and photoshopping. She's promoting the idea that natural beauty is the best, which fits in well with promoting her new Vh1 reality show The Price of Beauty. The French Marie Claire also devoted its entire issue to the same ideal: no re-touching of the photos.
"I don't have anything to prove anymore," Jessica told the magazine. "What other people think of me is not my business."
Snarky comments aside, she actually looks good here. Maybe even better than she does when she wears 10 lbs. of makeup and 15 lbs. of Ken Paves hair extensions. Not to be critical but here is my only gripe: her smile looks extremely fake to me… and extra buck-toothy! I've seen her Twitter pictures and her everyday look. Her smile never looks like that!
I guess when you take off the makeup, you can actually see the person's face. Imagine that!
