Fashion designer, Kristin Hassan rocked the runway last night with the debut of her new summer 2010 collection. Glamazons fiercely cascaded down the runway in eye catching floral, rompers and ultra feminine cocktail dresses that would add certain flair to anyone’s wardrobe.
The ‘not-so-desperate housewife’ believes not only in the power of fashion, but in the power of connecting with your audience in attempt to set yourself apart from other designers. “It’s the two seconds when you’re sitting in the audience of a fashion show and you lean over and whisper to your best friend, ‘I want that!’ I’m changing that two seconds from ‘I want that’ to’ I’m getting that!” it goes without saying that the SCS team, experienced the same warm and fuzzy feeling when we saw the Amanda Bow Dress (lurex chiffon).
Shortly after the show concluded, garments were available for immediate purchase, riding tons of anxiety from fashionista’s alike, who typically have to wait anywhere between 6-8 months to don designer duds. Staff members were on hand to answer questions – and assist with ordering additional sizes. Now that’s the way to shop!
Head turning prints!
You can find Hassan’s collection at the Launch/CFI pop up shop at 900 N Michigan Avenue, 5th Floor through April 17th and at KristinHassan.com.
