Just launching her second season, jewelry designer, Ellen Himic is giving us a fresh look at something a little different. Her design aesthetic is completely unique and clearly associated with her personal style as both a designer and a brand. Heavily influenced by historic architecture, antique sculpture and symbolic objects, Himic's collection is incredibly detailed in a way that you don't normally see with today's jewelry. Narrowing the gap between contemporary and fine jewelry, she uses a select mix of semi-precious and precious stones set in a variety of metals to complete her handcrafted works of art.
"My current collections are interpretations of specific details in architecture. The Cassion Collection™ are interpretations of cassions, which are sunken panels found in ceilings of Basilicas and Cathedrals," explains the designer.
Prices range from $70 to just over $2,000 so the collection is widely accessible to pretty much everybody.
