The Giorgio Armani and Reebok collaboration is almost upon us.
As well as footwear that will be offered under the Emporio Armani/Reebok label, they are producing an activewear collection for both men and women called EA7/Reebok. The women's wear collection will feature harem pants, tunic dresses and fleece hoodies.
The initial capsule collection will feature 40 apparel pieces for each gender, ranging from $65 to $190. The 15 piece footwear styles also for each gender will price between $140 and $150.
Reebok president and CEO Uli Becker said that the main goal of this whole collaboration is to create "authenticity". “For Armani, it was about getting sports credentials, and for Reebok, we got style credentials.”
The collection is expected to hit high end department stores, as well as select gyms, this coming July.
