Gaultier's tackled couture, then cheap, affordable clothing. So now it would be nice for him to just do something that he knows and loves, right.?
Jean Paul Gaultier is gearing up to get back into home furnishings with a collaboration with French furniture brand Roche Bobois.
Gaultier even gave a sneak peek at his own ideas by decorating the Elle Decoration suite in New York City. Besides a room covered in moss and plant fixtures, there was also a boudoir labeled the "flesh room" due to its satin pink walls. Get ready for lots of tongue-in-cheek scenery and optical illusions.
Gaultier has tackled home furnishings before in 1992 when he teamed up with France's VIA. This line, though it has no official release date, will be unveiling pieces over the upcoming months.
