Jen Walsh with cameraman shooting the Eucerine video.

At the More Reinvention Convention at Navy Pier on Monday, Beauty Expert Jen Walsh was in town to shoot a video for Eucerine. The video included bloggers and I was glad to be there to represent Second City Style. Stay tuned and I will let you know when the video will be completed, which will probably be in the next few months!

Jen Walsh, of Behind The Brand Media began her career as a makeup artist, founded The Beauty Bar and has been a beauty media expert for over 15 years. (So, did she start when she was 12?) You may have seen her on national television doing beauty segments on programs such as the Morning Show. She was just lovely to work with. We wanted to "hate her because she was beautiful" but couldn't since she was so down to earth and fun! Working with her I realized her job in the video was a heck of a lot more difficult than mine. I had a bit part in the video, making the Eucerine pledge!

I have always loved Eucerine Body Cream since I was a child. It was one of the only things that worked on my extremely dry skin since. I spoke to Andrew Videra, Associate Product Manager at the Eucerine booth. One of the best points he made is that our skin is our largest organ and we really should take care of it in that way. If we keep it hydrated and protected from the sun and we can prevent health problems, such as skin cancers, and also avoid "repair work" and costs of fillers and surgeries. "Skin First" is their motto.

A very popular booth at the More Reinvention Convention was Giorgio Armani Beauty. They were giving free makeovers and offering 20% off on purchases that day! I met Giorgio Armani Celebrity Make-up Artist Tim Quinn, who was overseeing the "A-Team".  Francesco did my makeover. I felt better immediately when he hydrated my face with the 'Obsidian' Mineral Regenerating Cream. Next he showed me how to use their super creamy eye-liner between my lashes, and mixed together two of the famous Armani Foundations to give my skin a nice clean glow. He finished with their mascara that really elongated and curled my lashes! When one of the  seminars let out the crowd grew and women began to line up quickly. Tim started coloring my lips while Franceso was doing my eyes (with gorgeous teal and copper shadows) and I felt like a star. Then as Francesco was finishing me up. a woman behind me was literally screaming "I want him! I want him to do my makeup!" I was so lucky!
