With the provocative wardrobes and hairstyles, Lady Gaga has proven Halloween costumes can be worn year-round, and with her expertise in the sculptures that lie on top of her head, we all knew it wouldn’t be long until she thought about hat designing.
The singing sensation asked Philip Treacy, notable hat designer, for an internship, yes, an internship! Who would’ve though Gaga would step back to be an intern.
A rep for Treacy confirmed the news, saying: “Lady Gaga has requested an internship, but Philip will have to check her sewing skills first.” Treacy hasn’t yet responded.
Treacy has made hats for designers Karl Lagerfeld and Alexander McQueen, and Gaga has been a fan of Treacy’s wearing several of his creations, like the Lobster piece featured above.
I always thought internships came before selling millions of records, but who knows! Gaga has always seem to do things her own way, so this should come as no surprise.
