Jason Wu's future is so bright, he's gotta wear shades. So obviously, he has to make the perfect pair.
The newest collection of sunglasses and optical frames will feature styles based on iconic women. There will be four oversized sunglass styles named after aviator Amelia Earhart, singer Joan Jett and actresses Mia Farrow and Jean Seberg.
The newest optical additions offer five styles named after courageous women in literature: Elizabeth (Bennet of “Pride and Prejudice”), Viola (from “Twelfth Night”), Josephine (“Jo” March from “Little Women”), Scout (Finch from “To Kill a Mockingbird”) and Jane (Eyre of “Jane Eyre”). The optical looks range from dainty frames with a subtle cat’s-eye and metal details (Viola and Jane) to larger, more outsize shapes (Scout and Josephine).
The frames are available in specialty boutiques now and retail between $255 and $375 a pair.
