Marc Jacobs Oiled Up and Ready for Bang

This is the newest ad for Marc Jacobs' newest men's fragrance, Bang. This scent will be the first new scent from the Marc Jacobs brand in a decade.

This is the first time Marc Jacobs has ever appeared in his own advertising and boy, he only has an oversized cologne bottle to pose with. “This fragrance ad isn’t about some chiseled face on a beach — that approach wouldn’t be in line with what we’re doing,” said Jacobs. “This fragrance is for a contemporary guy, who, even if he isn’t young, has a younger spirit.”

How fitting that the fragrance is called "Bang" and that it's right over his , um…. nether regions.

The fragrance hits Bloomingdale's and Marc Jacobs stores on July 30.
